These are some photos of the Shangri-La Hotel that I stayed in Suzhou during April 2007. This was one of the Horizon Club suites on the 40th floor. Some of the benefits of being on a Horizon Club floor: free high-speed internet connection; complimentary buffet breakfast in the Horizon Club lounge located on the 48th floor; club floor check-in/check-out; free-suit pressing and shoe-shine service; free daily newspaper and fruits, etc.
This being a relatively new hotel, you’ll experience such amenties as an iron/ironing board in your room and a spa-like rain shower that has consistent hot-water temperature. Another neat feature is that the drapery and window shades are all remote controlled on a panel to the right of the bed. Amazing. See my review of this hotel in one of my previous posts, here.
A king-size bed – clean and just the right firmness. Look at all those pillows – whoa!
An LCD TV mounted on the wall – great reception with HBO and ESPN-Asia channels. My work desk is in the center, which is big enough for my laptop and more!
A view of the bathroom. The rain-shower is on the left and also there is a bathtub on the right, which is not currently visible.
This is the living/dining room with another television on the left. Hehehehehe.
A view of the entry/exit way. Why would you want to leave 😉 ? Mini-bar is on the right. Enjoy!
