Put a fork in ’em Mabel – these ‘Hawks are done!
Blogroll, Pictures, Seattle Seahawks Add commentsIs Coach Holmgren pondering the loss to the Browns or what he’ll be doing in retirement?
Another Sunday, another gut-wrenching loss.
Traveling on the road and playing a game at Cleveland, the Seahawks were up 21-9 at halftime. However, the Browns staged an unbelieveable comeback, thwarting the lowly Seahawks in OT, 33-30. Regardless of the chance Seattle had in OT to ice the game and let Josh Brown kick the winning field goal, Seattle had the lead at halftime and could not put the game away in regulation. There were failures on the team offensively and failures on the team defensively. Oh, by the way, Shaun Alexander got injured in game and again proved a non-factor.
Coach Holmgren seems to be too optimistic about the ‘Hawks chances of winning this season. Yes, they play in the NFC Worst division, but even if they do make the playoffs, it will be a disgrace to the city of Seattle to have a team playing with this dismal effort. We deserve better than this! As I mentioned it this post and in this post, Coach Holmgren needs to pick up his walking papers!
