Funny comics #13 (with a nod to Tiger Woods)
BC, Blogroll, Comics, Golf, Tiger Woods No Comments »Tiger Woods wouldn’t go to this extreme to win a tournament, would he? 😮 As of this date, Tiger has won 5 tournaments in a row, dating back to last season. If you count worldwide tournaments (Dubai Desert Classic) and unofficial tournaments (Target World Challenge), he has won 7 in a row.
Currently, Tiger is playing in the CA Championship at Doral. He’s going after his his fourth straight victory at Doral and his fourth straight CA Championship. Furthermore, Tiger is aiming for his fourth consecutive WGC win. Wow.
In terms of golfing history, his victory in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at the Bay Hill Course in Orlando, Florida gave Woods PGA Tour victory No. 64, tying Hogan for third place on the all-time list behind Jack Nicklaus (73) and Sam Snead (82). Double Wow.
Sorry, LeBron — we are all witnesses, not to you, but to Tiger Woods.
It doesn’t snow in Suzhou, does it? Apparently on a few rare occassions, it does. As of this writing, on January 26, it is around 27 F and it is snowing in Suzhou, China. My current world travels have me “stuck” in this city. I’ve been in Suzhou since January 16. Actually, I’m on the first leg of an Asian business trip that will take me to Singapore and then Japan. I’m sure when I’m in Singapore, it will be about 98 F and humid. Then, I’ll go to Tokyo, Japan, where it will probably be cold, snowy and/or rainy.
